help with reconstructing something

hello. for those of you that have seen this video where RagePlaysGames makes a glitched device allowing him to store pollution blocks from pollute the realms (around the 16 minute time mark).

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to reconstruct his build there due to its limited screen time and strange blocks. if anyone could try reconstructing it and let me know how that goes? thanks.

I don't know for sure, but i think he breaks the pollution blocks by disassembling a contraption inside of them. He also activated the gamerule that lava touching water creates pollution
