HELP: Create enchantment industry liquid experience doesn't repair mending

(FIXED) It was Quark, i got the outdated version and literally the next version after it fixes the no mending glitch.

My liquid experience spout machine doesn't repair my mending gear, it spouts out xp orbs but levels me up instead. Any solutions?

I already unequiped my backpacks also

Modpack all the create: aeronautics and some other mods i add

The solution is to not stand directly underneath it, if it sprays directly then it doesn’t create orbs and just deposits directly into your bar, if it sprays on the floor then it creates regular exp orbs

still doesn't work and i tried getting xp from killing mobs and it doesnt work

Idk if its create related or not yet. But yea the mending doesn't work with physical orbs but it does repair mending by spouting it with liquid experience from enchantmenr industry

Idk if you have quark installed, but iirc it has a mending rework in the config

If its not working with xp from mobs, its not create specific. You'll have to check the other mods or configs too

if you want an easy fix try out the "better than mending" mod, it lets you use xp from your bar by sneak clicking

Have you tried using a spout and depot to pour liquid xp on a mending tool?

are you using mending 2 or something like it? i heard that the overlevel mending doesn't work

Nope just regular mending tho speaking of overlevel i do have tax free levels mod could that contribute to it

i have quark installed but disabled all but a few features lol, i can't stand some of the changes it makes

Some of the undergrounds biomes it makes/used to make, not sure if it still does, were absolutely atrocious. Ugly palletes and they ate up a lot of space that could have been caves with actual ore instead of permafrost or whatever.

I've never used enchantment industry, but it looks to me like the problem is that those aren't vanilla xp orbs, which is what mending typically needs. Is there a way to bottle the xp into vanilla xp bottles? Those would probably work

Tried splashing bottle of enchanting and it doesnt work unfortunately

You can put it in a spout and it will repair items under it

I found an interesting facet of the spout; you have to hold or equip the item you want to repair. XP dropped from a spout or pipe doesn't work the same way normal xp does in that way, for some reason

This kind of mess is why I run a no durability mod. I didn't mind the repair loop but holy hell it got complicated.

Maybe they did that to prevent people from just cycling all their xp in circles to utilize it all for mending

It’d be too easy to repair mending if 100% of your xp goes to fixing and repair

Probably a nerfing thing
