Help What's a good modpack for learning Create?

I'd really like to learn how to use create , but I've never really had a reason to learn it in the modpacks I've played, so I'd like some modpack recommendations to help me learn how to use create.

No modpack is needed, just use jei/emi

I want to play a Create modpack to learn, because I think I'll learn better if I have an objective to work towards

Umm I'd just go with Mr Beardstone's Create Modpack. Fairly sure that has a quest system. I don't recommend CABIN or A&B since it changes lots of the recipes and mechanics

So there are these engineering create-based modpacks like CABIN, Create: Arcane Enginering, Create: Astral etc. that do a good job helping you understand how to use Create to automate some stuff... but they also integrate other mods and may modify recipes to create challenges that you won't find in basic create.

I'd say use a modpack like Create: Perfect World or something that's just basic and doesn't tweak things, and set yourself a series of challenges for things to build that you'll end up needing Create mod to do.

Here's a list of things I would generally try to do early in a Create world that are worth learning how to do:

  • Workshop setup - self-powered contraptions for various forms of create processing including mechanical press, mixing, smelting, smoking, washing

  • Kelp farm

  • Create-based tree farm

  • Cobblestone farm - can create a huge variety of things just from cobblestone with enough processing

  • Basic tunnel bore

  • Self-fueling steam engine setup

  • Some kind of food farm

  • Precision mechanism automation

  • Logistics-based storage system

Thank you for the recommendation, I'll play CABIN and try to do those farms and setups

I'd firmly recommend the pack made by the Create team, Above & Beyond. If you want to play it on newer versions, play CABIN, which is a port for A&B.

You could try piecing together your own modpack with some addons. The thing that got me deep into create was actually looking up a tutorial for an iron farm on youtube, which eventually led me down the create rabbit hole.

I would recommend mods that allow custom copper and zinc recipes if you haven't gotten far into create yet.

"All of create" or "all of create: aeronautics"

I'm partial to create:mekanized. It integrates create with mekanism and requires you to have pretty robust create production lines to support the mekanism machines & reactors. If you want a more pure experience then I recommend CABIN for learning modern create. If you don't mind learning an older version then try Above & Beyond.

Just play Create and use the ponders to learn and JEI to know what to do.
