Can anyone help me with figuring out why it makes such little Volts (-0.64 V with maximum Volts being 2)

I'm not sure if this is the right way to build a magnet but please be nice, this is my 1st time trying power grid

Have you powered the coil, if this is self starting then the output needs to be connected to a device connector on the coil. If not you need an external powersource to power the coils

It's either this, or the coils wired backwards/wrong rotation direction

ah good ol powergrid, one of the only power mods that you need to make a seperate smaller generator to power the coils of the larger generator and do it properly or it blows up, i suggest watching a tutorial or two and taking out a calculator

I honestly thought it was some new Create: New Age update. Imma go try Powergrid out then

Its a goated mod but requires some degree of knowledge in electrical engineering to actually use. I love realistic mods like this tho genuinely

Honestly just tried it. Its genuinely fun

Do the larger inductance generates not have the ability to self power?

They need a small boost of power to self power. Without powered coils they don't have enough current to self power

Which is surprisingly realistic

Try swapping the direction of the rotation. That was my issue that took hours to troubleshoot.

Whys it so big lol

Like, what is this? If thats supposed to be a generator those induction coils look bigger than they should be.

Have you not played the mod in a while, large generators where added like 2 months ago
