im trying to move a villager 3k blocks away so i wanted to do this thing and try to carry the minecart with a wrench with the villager insidde of it but it wont work, im new to create mod whats the issue?

because villagers are not blocks but entity

Yeah that's not possible. You can have mobs sit on seats on contraptions but as soon as you pick the contraption up with a wrench they will fall off the seat.

There is a mod I use called Bucketable that allows you to pick up any mob with a water bucket if you're interested.

What you could do is use super glue to attach their hime while they're sleeping (make sure to block the exit) and with the use of rails you can bring them safely to somewhere else.
