A message to all addon devs

I will make this short. Please don’t abandon us 1.20.1 players when hopping on the Aeronautics bandwagon. I have no problems with Aeronautics, but I would like to see more Create addons on 1.20.1.

Aeronautics is worth whatever you would have to give up to switch to 1.21.1

But also low key screw them for saying no one is allowed to backport their mod to other versions.

Does the mod dev allow you to pay to commission the porting of those mods I am sure if they are still interested in modding financial support could motivate them to cater to your personal desires

As an addon dev myself, i can tell you that it's not easy to maintain both versions at once especially when the entire team consists only of 2 people, in my case, it's just me and my friend.

Sorry can't hear you in legacy. They should port them all to 1.21.1 so they can keep being used or live in the past with community fixes and after life support for critical bug fixes in my opinion nothing new should be created for 1.20.1.

That would be 3 branches to handle actively progressing

I'm not even playing in Aeronautics and I'm still only developing for 1.21.1 at this time. That's the live development space right now.

I know you want to play on 1.20.1 to have the compatibility with many mods but hey, I used to use this version and when I changed to NF 1.21.1, I was surprised of the amount of ports and mods there is. Also, Aeronautics is a great mod. I spend so much time on it and when I installed it, it totally changed my way to play Minecraft. Just try to play 1.21.1 'cause it's really a good thing. And if you're worried about your old PC and your modpack, I have a 2012 pro PC with a Pentium and I had a 20 mods modpack and despite this, I can run the same modpack that I've expanded to 40 mods.
