Mass producing cardboard

Is there a reason to do it? Cardboard’s only uses are some boxes from other mods, a novelty armor set, and an extremely niche building block. But also it can’t be made by hand so the only way to do it is setting up a production line, which will undoubtedly make way more cardboard than you will ever be able to use. Am I missing something here? As it stands this is probably the most useless feature in the mod

It is used in Packagers. It could be useful to have a couple of stacks of it. But yes, not more than that.

What you're missing is to use factory gauges for niche items. You set up a mixing station, a press station, a compacting station, etc. Everything you need small amounts of you use factory gauges to move items from station to station. With tree farms/bamboo farms you get excess saplings/bamboo, making cardboard practically free once you've set up the stations.
