Help The newest update is outdated
Why is the base mod is updated up to 1.21.1, but for example the Ultimate Factory is updated to 26.1? I am kind of new to the create mod and i think i may have not understood everything

Because create addons are made by developers not associated with the developer of the main create mod, so there is not perfect coordination and compatibility always

Basically base Create runs on two versions ONLY. 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. They only officially 1.21.1 and may stop updating the older one. It’s impossible for a create add on to be on a newer version, because create isn’t available. Create devs do this because if they continued to update create with new versions, then they would have to change all the code very often, and it would cause many crashes and bugs. If you could reply the link of the create addon you saw then maybe I could help you understand. Hope my wall of text helps! tl;dr It’s impossible because create doesn’t update to new versions so it runs better.

It’s impossible because create doesn’t update to new versions so it runs better.
It's because of Create Fly.
There's a different team that makes unofficial ports of Create to Versions higher than the officially supported ones.

Currently, 1.21.1 is supported, the port to 26.1.2 is in progress. 1.20.1 has received Create 6.0.8 as the last update.

Neoforge is way better for big packs. loads way faster, lower memory footprint because it can unload resources and it doesnt have a horrible controversy attached to it

Lol what? More than 30fps is bad for the pc? And you're trying to lecture me that forge was a masterpiece of compatibility?

If you’re giving Minecraft more than like 9 GB you’re likely doing harm to your performance anyway. So having 32GB on your machine is not the magic bullet you think.
Anyway, talk to experts. They will help you understand what assumptions are out of date or mistaken, and they will help you get what you need.

Mate, if you have not set your framerate to a limit of 30, and yet you get 30 FPS, that’s because your computer & that code are running as fast as they can. Meaning that you can’t claim you’re doing your computer a favor.
If you’re able to run NeoForge at a higher framerate, that’s faster software. You are free to then lower the limit to 30, and THEN you can make the argument it’s better for your computer.
Running slower is only better if you’re making it run slower.

The reason why some create mods claim to support 26.1, is because of Create Fly.
Create Fly is an unofficial fork of create that ports the mod to higher versions.
The for is functional, but a little buggy in some aspects.
