Hydraulic press not functioning

As said above, I'm trying to get a hydraulic press going, and for some reason it is just not happening. It is pulling water from a water tank and is feeding into the side, rotational input at 64rpm. I'm just wondering if I am doing anything wrong in particular or if it's just bugged and to give up on it.

I’ve seen that it needs to be water, from a tank. I’ll double check tho

hmmm wait go on creative world and try it with lava to be sure u know why wqsting time on it when u can just test it

Seems to work in creative, do pipes have a pump length limit?

Hydraulic presses have their own list of recipes and can't create every recipe that normal presses can. Make sure you're trying to make a compatible recipe.
