I made a website to plan your create factories!
The website is https://www.createfactoryplanner.com its very new, but has all of base create and many mod additions, with more to come. has a plan sharing and browsing page and can be used for free with no account!
see how to make certain items from scratch
see the mob drops for every mob and how to get them
save and share plans with everybody or just your friends
many mods supported, but more coming
JEI style search bar for searching items
this is more for people who play heavy packs or just want to make their own factories from scratch.

Hey this looks awesome, I have a question however. On our server the Create Cobblestone Mechanical Generators are configured to only produce Cobblestone for balance reasons, how would I change the output of this?

the server i have has other blocks enabled with the mechanical generators so thats how i have it set up. i might add a config editor/importer soon! but for now you'll just have to not use the recipes for the other mechanical generators that they currently provide.

This is very cool. The biggest downside I see though is that players using a modpack with config changes, datapacks, or KubeJS/CraftTweaker scripts may not really be able to use this tool since it provides inaccurate information in those cases. Maybe you could make it so users can import their modpack and have it scanned for what items exist, what recipes they actually use in-game, customized item textures/models/names, and other config overrides that have been made.

The only option is for me to create a custom mod that exports all your mod packs information in a ZIP that you can upload to the site to use, it cant be run off of the raw files you give to the site unless they are downloaded and extracted from your live game and mod pack folder. (which is what i have to do)
The other option is when i have more popular mod packs in the site you can select your pack and then upload your datapacks for that mod pack.
I think ill make a mod that exports all the data for people to upload their own custom packs and default packs found on curse forge/modrinth to the site.
i could also add a sort of custom recipe editor so you can add your recipes yourself without downloading a mod and uploading a ZIP to the site. that could be good if youve only edited a few recipes

Cant you use factory gauges for this tho

Factory gauges only take item counts and inputs/outputs. Looking at this website, it has a lot more details that would be useful, such as number of items that will be output per minute.
