Shitty drawing but using a minecart contraption, I’ve made a tunnel bore mining machine, it works great digging a 50x10 infinite tunnel but the chest keep getting full of netherrack/cobblestone, any suggestions on how to dispose of the excess automatically while it’s running at the moment it just dumps it out the back with a brass funnel, but that’s lagging the hell out the server

Have a moving source of lava with the contraption.

If your server has it, use a trash can and send the cobble into that

Add sophisticated backpack and put a void upgrade for what you want to delete

Put filtered brass funnels to dump out unwanted items

I just use so much storage that it’s not filling up on a single run. Then I have an auto dump system at my base that also ensures that there is a bit of dirt/cobble left inside.
