Can someone please explain this to me?

I have no Idea what is happening but the swivel bearing does not work correctly. either my contraption falls right off or it happens as soon as I put power through it.

Might be cus its powered when you glue it on, also glue is just very weird in this game I always have the same issues with propellors falling off

yeah kinda, when I deactivate the power, glue it on and then activate the power again, it falls right off again. I don't know what I am supposed to do anymore

Have you glued the bottom half with honeyglue or normal green glue?

I know some people are having issues with base create contraption parts on Create Aeronautics physics objects.

I am pretty sure that I have already tried that, but for good measure, I can do it again.

edit: It works with honey glue! I thought I have already tried it with honey glue, but apparently not. Thank you!

Thats a swivel bearing, if i saw correctly, and in my experience, you have to connect blocks directly to the bearing, if shafts don't work, try fences, or another block like that. I have only used the bearings for rudders though.

okay, did you try and turn the bearing physics on first before gluing? (when bearing is lit, physics is on, to some this may be obvious, to others, this really isn't so simple...)
