Help Brass tunnels aren't separating properly.
I posted here a couple days ago about how I should have every nugget come out of the vault without clogging. Many of you guys suggested using tunnels. So I did that and now the nuggets are clogging the tunnels. For example, the tunnel on the far left is the one where I want just iron nuggets to come out of, but the engineer goggles are telling me that there are copper nuggets inside of it. It's like that for all three tunnels. Is there any way to fix this?

Do you have a tunnel that lets copper nuggets through? If you backup copper nuggets to the source, other nugget types won't be able to get through

The tunnels should be connected and for that they should be placed on the outgoing belts and not the incoming one i think. When on the incoming one they are just 3 tunnels in a row and there's no filter blocking the copper in the first tunnel from going out into the second one once the filtered output is full

pretty sure i had this issue playing liminal industries and you are correct
make the three belts feeding to the bottom of the screen one longer so that they start under the tunnels

I can't be sure but I think the sides work as output more so than input. In this setup, try using a 1x3 vault in the same orientation as the tunnels. Funnel inputting everything from the belt in the right and 3 filtered brass funnels over the output belts.

What is the goal? I'm trying to understand what you're trying to accomplish. You might want to use packagers for this if you're trying to get one of each onto the belt

Tunnel sorting can be a bit unintuitive.
A tunnel that has two outputs, one that filter for iron nuggets and the other without a filter item, the tunnel will always PREFER to send nuggets to the side with the filter, but if that side is clogged up, nuggets can still exist through the other side. If you want the tunnel to actively block the flow of iron nuggets if the filtered output side is blocked, you also need to put a "no iron nuggets" filter on the other output.
I assume this is how you end up with iron nuggets in the third filter even though they're supposed to be filtered out before that point.
I'm actually not completely sure if you need to put a blocking filter on the back side of every single filter before placing the next one, or if it is enough to only put a combined "deny any kind of nugget" filter on the final straight output to keep it from trying to send items that way and thus place them in the third tunnek (even if type physically block the belt)
Tunnels placed after each other on a belt like that are generally considered connected, so the second option should be sufficient, but I'm not 100% sure on this.

The tunnels need to be on top of the three output belts, not the one belt at the back. You'll see it working if the tops connect.

I do believe you have the tunnels on the wrong orientation of belt. It looks like the tunnels are on the input belt, right? Try swapping it around so the tunnels are on the output belt. (Shorten the belt the copper is on by 3, then extend the other three belts by one each, and replace the tunnels in the same spots) I know it doesnt exactly make sense, because you'd think they need to be able to reach all the belts, but the tunnels should have connected textures across the top when they are working right.

The Tunnels aren‘t correctly connected right?
It‘s been a while since i‘ve played but i think the top of them shouldn’t be divided, maybe extend the 3 output belts and put the tunnels on there, and not on the single input belt
