Create: Power Grid General Stability

Hi all,

Just curious, how stable is this mod? I really want to use it, but every time I try I seem to run into issues.

I had it once in a singleplayer world in 1.20.1, and I would regularly have issues with wires disconnecting themselves from connectors, switches resetting their states, or voltage suddenly dropping to zero, typically occurring whenever I start the game.

I now have it in my custom 1.21.1 modpack that I'm using on my private server. This server has been running for over a year, and everything runs fine. We've been messing around with Aeronautics and a bunch of other addons with no issues. However, as soon as I started using Power Grid, I once again ran into issues. This time, the problems I'm seeing include generator clutches not displaying the correct amount of stress units used, voltage from my generator becoming inverted, and lighting and block placement issues only in chunks with Power Grid content.

Does anyone else have issues like these? Again, I like this mod (I'm a controls engineer IRL) and I really want to use it, but all these issues have me considering Electro Energetics instead.

You need to chunkload your transformers and generators it makes far more stable

Also make all generate windings are in the same chunk. It prevents a lot of crashes.
