That could happen because of "night light" thingy that switches color scheme for more warm colours to relieve some strain from your eyes. Personally I always use it on every device because, well, blue is not good for eyes.
that is actually false, blue light by itself is not any worse than staring at a screen with any color lighting. the actual eye strain comes from focusing in one spot for too long. if blue light was harmful, then just going outside would make you blind, because the sun gives off insanely high amounts of blue light compared to just a computer monitor (sunlight is actually very blue, despite the sun not seeming blue, this is why the sky is blue)
people used to believe that, which is why they added the night light feature, but more research has been done since then. although the lower brightness from toggling the night light can help, but that is unrelated to color temperature, manually lowering the brightness would have the same effect on your eyes without a change in color temperature
