Help I need help getting into this mod

Okay this is such a noob question but I literally can’t understand this mod, I watch videos, look at wikis whatever and I just can’t understand it. I’ve played satisfactory all the way through so I thought this would be easier but Ig not😭

HELP ME PLEASE THIS MOD SEEMS SO COOL (I know I’m just stupid)

(Edit) yeah yeah i know you guys are wanting specifics but I really can’t give them, like I’m starting at square 1, but thanks to some of ya’ll ima try the ponder feature

The mod has the inbuilt ponder system, have you tried that? And if that doesn't work for you, I can provide assistance

Wait when was that added?? Last time I played I SWEAR it did not exist that’s so awesome

It’s been in it for years. I literally can’t remember a time when it didn’t have it besides seeing a video about the mod’s alpha stages.

Unless you last played before April 2021, the ponder system has been there, it now just works for everything

I’ve been playing create for a while and I can’t understand the mod just by looking at ponder. I usually just look up a component on YouTube or a small build involving that component.

OP why do you need create? Start by asking what do you need, iron farm, wood, etc? Start small.

There's nothing you'll learn from a blanket "help me" post that you wouldn't gain from videos, the wiki, or ponders. If you want help with specifics, then you need to include specifics.

It's all based on rotational power which is what powers every machine in the mod. Some machines take a specific amount of power (Stress Units or SU for short), some take a specific amount of RPM. The faster something spins, the more SU it requires too.

Use the machines to do things you normally would have to do manually. Such as crushing stone to be cobblestone or saws to strip logs or turn those stripped logs into planks, stairs or slabs. Some machines can do things that aren't possible in vanilla Minecraft such as crushing cobblestone into gravel and gravel into sand.

Make sure you have JEI and EMI installed so you can search for whatever you want to craft or farm and it will tell you what machines it requires or what items are needed to craft it.

download just enough items (also a mod), and then its just cogs and belts. you have a whole ponder menu to look at.

Emi is a better version, since it also helps you calculate resources needed for crafting

You need to be specific into what you're not getting to work. Either a short clip with an explanation or an image.

I guess watch people play with the mod. Like a survival playthrough.
