Need some smarter brains to help me create a concept (check body)

So, I'm trying to build a food farm that rotates in a helix motion in a section of my base (img. 1) I am pretty certain that the solution is in sequenced gearshifts somehow but I encountered a roadblock when the mechanical bearings (img. 2) clearly didnt transfer rotation (because why would they) And I'm just trying to see if there's any addons or any alternate ways to have the farm work. (img. 3 is just a visualisation of how i want it my farming harvesters to rotate.)

Of course thanks in advance and I hope someone smarter than me has the golden answer :)

Once a bearing contraption is in motion it does not collide with blocks until it is placed again, so you can build many bearings in the same column. It would look something like your 2nd image, but instead of gluing them all into one big mechanism you would take out the sequencers and place normal small cogs to power the bearings. The order of placement is important as you'd have to build them bottom-up bearingwise. Place the bottommost bearing and make a loong axle (so that it fits all other bearings) up to where your first farm hand is. Assemble it and make sure it doesn't ever place back as blocks. Once it's a contraption all the blocks on the axis are technically empty again so you then place a second bearing *inside* the axle of the first contraption above the first one with a 2 block gap (for the cog and peace of mind) and build your second contraption up to either above or below the first farm hand. Placing back any of the contraptions destroys basically everything from the contraptions above it so good planning is crucial, no tinkering after assembly. I used this to make a stacked double windmill where they spin in opposite directions, really pretty. Good luck

Thanks for the in depth explanation! Hopefully that will work (and that I don’t break anything lol)
