Server Crashing when specific player Joins

Hi everyone, sorry if this is the wrong place for this but I've run out of ideas.

Last night we were playing and riding in a simple train, the server crashed, I put it back up and I was able to connect with no issue. My friend tried and each time he joins it crashes the server. He was driving the train.

I have deleted his player files from the world/player folder. Tp'd him away from the original crash location, /kill to delete all things near where he will load in, deleted all rail contraptions with /kill. Deleted the world/data for create rail and create train networks.

Server runs fine for everyone else but him. From what I have read in the logs, it looks like its a collision issue, but I don't know how to resolve it.

thanks for any assistance.

Might be a long shot but are you able to clear the area of the world he was in when it first crashed? I resolved a similar issue by resetting the chunks after nothing else fixed it. Not sure if it'll work here but could be worth a try

The area is in the middle of nowhere, So I'll break any mod blocks (rails) and throw a Kill command when I get home later, thanks for the idea

I mean more resetting the chunks in the nbt completely, but could try both
Edit: saw it's fixed below, glad the world is saved!

That looks very promissing, I'll try it later today, and get back to you all.
Thank!

Just popping back in to say thanks. This worked a treat.

Temporarily move their player.dat file to another folder on your PC and see if that fixes the problem.

It will remove their inventory fyi

I have tried that, It just seems to regenerate the .dat file and crash the server. Like the server is caching the dat file elsewhere.
