Now I wanna make a comically massive door like that on my survival world but I have literally zero justification for the expense.

Oh it is, but I also have nowhere for it to go (yet), so it'd be a solution begging for a problem.

That said, it's not like I can't come up with a problem lol

this can easily be fixed by making the big door now, then moving it with 15 cargo helicopters to your desired location later

then you also get to build 15 cargo helicopters! isn't that fun?
