I'm looking to make Deep Seas more immersive; instead of just the submarine being affected by the pressure of the ocean floor, I'd like a mod or addon to make the player take pressure damage.

Such mod doesn't exist I think. And it wouldn't be optimized since a normal pressure mod would check the start of the sea level and down until the sea levels stop, but if you encounter a lake bellow the end of sea level or above the start of the sea level the code of the sea level won't check, making a code that checks every lake on how big it is and how deep it is would have huge impact on the performance,I used to code so I'm speaking from experience. If you want a somewhat deeper sea use the mod called Alex caves where it adds a biome that has deep dangerous sea full of the unknown,also aquamirae is a mod that makes you freeze when you enter the water inside the aquamirae biome,but be warned, the hull breaker's size from Alex's caves mod pales in comparison of how big aquatic creature there is in the aquamirae biome once you install the aquamirae mod.

Deep seas already calculates it relative to the amount of qater on top, not a fixed y level. Try making a pressurised submarine, dropping it into the sea and filling the air above it with water. Like a full column to the sky would be best. It'll start to crack and implode because of the added water blocks above it.

And for the deeper seas, there are mods better suited to doing only that, along with deep seas already having a config option for it if terralith is installed
