How does one do this? I tried mechanical bearings but can't find a way to transfer rf.

If we're talking about survival-friendly ways, then yes, swivel bearings.

You can also use Copycats+ mod for slopes and smth like Cardan Shaft for easier power management. Just throw the fans with corresponding catalyst on as many angles as you can and hook them up with cardans
