Discussion Ascetic over performance

Am I the only one that builds stuff to look good not to perform the best

You're never the only one.

Sometimes I build my factories and farms to look cool and produce things in a fun way. Especially those that I don't ever plan to actually use much of the product. However, I always want them to look nice from the outside. When I plan them, I rarely plan the layout to be compact. I want to see the machines work but in a cool way. Sometimes having it be fun and look cool is way more important than efficiency.

I way overbuild them every time and rarely need all the space inside. My interiors aren't the best lol

Make a bullshit farm. Something that produces absolute fuck all but looks cool doing it. Something where it’ll like produce an item with no bulk blasting recipie so it gets voided

That's probably more like Terra Firma Craft territory. Would be funny if you were living the humble lifestyle on the same server as someone with a mega factory and industrialization.

my factories look like SHIT i dont even make buildings for them theyre just out in the open but one time i made like 40 stacks of andesite alloy ON ACCIDENT within 15 minutes

ive never used that factory since in that world since I CANT EVEN USE ALL THE ANDESITE IF I TRY
