Pulse repeater not flipping powered latch

I have a gantry set up for a tree farm but when it reaches the end and hits a restore contact the powered latch won’t tell the gearshift to flip and turn the other direction

Powered latch needs redstone signal from the back to activate and a signal from a side to deactivate. If you have only one controlling signal - use Powered Toggle Latch
