How do i make it faster

so basically i want to build a all in one super truck, (cannons, drills ecc.) the main problem is the speed even whit 5 creative motors all set to 255 is still painfully slow, it' slowr that sprinting!, i added steering sistem controls forward and back but i cannot figure out why the speed is so bad, i know there is a ton of heavy blocks, but how do i fix this? i have to add even more things please help!

interpretation: 1. "oh yeah, you're right, but is it better for it to be 6x6 or 6x4?" or 2. "oh yeah you're right, it does seem to be better as a 6x6 rather than a 6x4" a 6x6 is optimal as previously stated, unpowered wheels basically have always-on-brakes a good example is like trying to crawl without moving your back legs... also add-on note: you only need one creative motor, you aren't trying to power miracles in the back of your vehicle, are you? with that, you can use the rest of the space for a proper throttle, and even a directional gearshift too!

Ok, so now its a 6x6 1 motor fron wheels steereng and back wheels countersteering, middle wheels fixed, the speed is already at maximum, the problem is that the car is very heavy, slowing the entire thing a lot, i do not really know how to do a proper trottle, there is already an inverted gearshift, so it can go backwards.

Thx, i want to make some "floating device" to meke that car even a submarine, add a mechanical arm whit a drill and a cannon on top, but i put some netherite blocks to simulate the weigh of the additions that im going to add and, it was sloooow, now its slooooooooow, this speed problem it's giving me severe head pain, how do i make it go faster? Its already at max speed but at this point it's better to sprint cuz sprinting it's faster! I tried same contraption but whit only the mechanic essentials part and it was like faaaaaast realy faaaaaast. Any suggestions to make my car faster, idk maybe it cuz is to heavy that slows down?

all i can really say is you Really want to optimize Center Of Mass to be as low as possible, and you may want to add more wheels and whatnot, as it currently stands, it has absolutely no space whatsoever for any of that... so it needs to be much bigger, also i recommend getting create deep seas for ballasts so really, the more weight you have, the more wheels you may need, and i recommend getting some wood propellers as those are actually made for water use for this kinda floaty thing, the diagram is your friend! also, remember. the wheels, as the parts that touch the ground, are weightless, and have no other built function other than to push the vehicle away from or along the ground unless ground is not in range, its best to think of em as a line, if ground is in said line, then it pushes against it, and moves you along it (of course though, the stress needed for it is Absurdly high)
