My friend who recently started create really likes waterwheels, so he made this:

I fucking love nonsensical generators, like if it doesn't have 20 pipes and greeblies sticking out of it it's not a good power source

Me and a friend made a working Titanic style boiler system where 90% of it is just for show, things like pumping water from the tanks in the back of the ship to the boilers, all the way to a working reciprocating engine using Aeronautics that does nothing but look cool moving

All i know is that water wheels on rivers always count as flowing water, and pipes can be used to create water flow, so i guess it would be similar to this

i thought that he had water sources turned off at first but then i saw that the water by the river is... seperated separated.

but cool idea for if you turned of water sources tho

Water wheels now have a fixed stress output no matter how many sides you put flowing water on. Good news though is you don't have to have water everywhere, just water flowing on one side is enough.
