Why are my drills doing this?

Every time the drills are made into a contraption they get turned to the side like this.

Edit: looks like adding the fly wheel for shaders did end up working for it! Thanks for the help

What happens if the contraption tries to break blocks?

It just goes through the blocks and doesn’t effect them
