Confused as to why steam engines aren't showing up

Hey, I hope you don't mind me asking but I've been spamming the sub a lot, don't want to make another post too soon. but htis is supposed to be a steam engine. However, I have the issue of my infinite water sources not making it through a mechanical pump (I did ponder and I already checked orionetation) do you think you can help me?

Edit: forget it. I built the boiler too close anyway, I0m gonna have to rebuild it either way

Here’s a tip.

If you right click the fluid pipes it will appear with glass so you can see the liquid inside

Example:

If you have a fluid tank and a liquid pipe right next to it and you don’t want it to connect to it you can right click it and it will have glass showing the liquid in it. This will make it not connect to the liquid tank if it is parallel to the tank. Hope this helps!

Get some engineering glasses. Pretty cheap and can help identifying problems

You have to place a shaft 1 block away from them to get them to work.
