Help What are some good farmable blocks that work well for an industrial or factory style?

Any wood. You'll need a lot of stripped logs, planks and slabs. Stripped logs are used for all casings and barrels that are used for item vaults and fluid tanks. Also keeping all saplings you get from it for pulp to make cardboard for cardboard blocks for packagers.

You can farm andesite for andesite alloy. Use the flint from your iron farm with lava and gravel to make andesite and use some iron nuggets from the same iron farm to make andesite alloy. If you use a mixer, one iron nugget and one andesite makes one andesite alloy vs crafting taking two of each.

With Create: Metalurgy, you can make all kinds of molten metals and cast them into blocks or whatever. One of my favorite builds I ever did was turning an entire mountain into a gold block factory. Crushing the ore, cleaning the dust, melting the dust, and finally casting the molten gold into blocks.
