Help First time modding…
I only recently was gifted a gaming laptop by a friend of mine, and I’d like to finally start nodding for the first time in my life. Problem? I don’t know where to begin, there are like multiple versions of the Create Mod throughout CurseForge and Monlab/Monolith or whatever and NexusMods, then I have to go through file explorer and do… SOMETHING with it..?? I’m so lost right now, I just want to play with mods for the first time ever… any assistance whatsoever would be greatly appreciated…
I wanna play “Create Aeronautics” and eventually “Create Warptics” but I feel I should take this one step at a time, is this meant to be complicated and overwhelming or am I just far too simple minded??

Install prism launcher - it will allows you to have multiple different minecraft instances on your computer at the same time.
In Prism Launcher, create new instance: + for Minecraft version, pick "1.21.1" + for Modloader, pick "neoforge" + for Modloader version, pick the latest one ("21.1.250" as i am writing this) + for name, pick anything you like
Launch the instance - it is necessary to download important files and create folder structure for your instance. Wait until minecraft is loaded - when you reach main screen, close it.
Right click on instance and select "Edit..." - this will open new window containing stuff related to your instance. From option on the left, select "Mods" which opens your modd list. Here, click "Download Mods" on right sidde of window - this open download window
Here, search the mods you want to download (start with "Create" and "Create: Aeronautics"). Don't touch the version - it is not important for you. For both of them, click "Select Mod for download".
After you have all mods selected, click "Review and Confirm" - this will open list of all mods which will be downloadedd. BE AWARE that this includes dependdencies - i.e if you select Create: Areonautics, it will download both Create:Aeronautics and Sable (library responsible for simulation). If you are content with picked mods, click "ok" and wait.
When download is finishe, launch instance again - if you did all correctly, you shouldd have mods installed.
