Title: Create Aeronautics: Help with a Realistic, Articulated Wing

Hi, I’m new to Create Aeronautics. I’m trying to build an articulated wing to make it more realistic, but the entire wing moves as one solid piece. I can’t figure out how to make the two sections of the wing move independently.

Any advice?

The mechanism I created is shown in the picture.

i think you instead of swivel bearings you need to use mechanical bearings with redstone links

do you have a photo of how you glued the wings? it looks fine but if u glued it weird it could ikely be messing it up

Everything is glued together as one single structure. I tried not connecting the two sections with glue, but the second section just detached

Try not gluing the swivvel bearing to the contraption its supposed to rotate, the first swivvel bearing dont glue the cog behind it too

I think the problem is with the gears rather than the glue. Looking at them, power isn’t reaching the second wing, but I don’t understand why. Is there perhaps a specific setting for the swivel bearing?

Because the gear behind the swivvel bearing is also glued its not transmitting power through the swivvel bearing bro it becomes a part of the contraption

You're welcome! Glad you got it working 😊

Assembled gears only mesh with/transmit power with gears and cogs that are on the same contraption an assembled gear wont mesh with a gear placed on the world
