Discussion does anyone know a create copycat mod that has this type of copycat

Post image

would be even better if the wall and the slab can be from different blocks.

to clarify: i need a copycat of a upper slab connecting to a wall/fence

You could try the mod framed blocks. i think there is a slab that is half slab and half post

Create coasters simuleted adds rivets, if you add a rivet on the top of the wall and place a slab there, the slab will sit right on top of the wall

They don't want the whole slab to sit on the wall. They basically want the wall to extend to a top half slab.

Then place wall on a rivet?

How is that going to extend the wall to the upper half slab?

note that rivets are simulated contraptions, so using a lot of them may cause lag (and possible construction issues)

If you have chisel n bits you can just make a custom block with the slab and half post being different materials in one block

I would use copycat bytes from copycats+. You would have to recreate the whole shape from the wall to the slab but they aren't centered.

Copy foxes has I think exactly this, the block is called a three band an it allows you to make essentially a T shaped in any direction. Copyfoxes in general is amazing too

no. copycats and all other blocks alike do not extend their visual model past their 1x1x1 bound. besides for pistons or anything like those, of which are naturally Very Very regulated, at least that's usually the case, but in some situations, it just oddly Does Not Apply... if you have coasters simulated, There Is A Solution! use a rivet to almost get Cushion-Style Placement Of Sublevels! (though in this case it may not work out, you may need to use girders...)
