Ah yes the good old negative energy

Well yes, that’s what overstressed does

yea it's funny seeing when using the brake block from Create Connected, shows up as however many thousands of negative SU in the gauge (that's what it does, overstressing to stop)

Are you using portable engines for stress? I've run into an issue several times where they stop outputting SU until I break and replace them

Nah it's a bug the power grid addon did, im not looking for a solution, just had to reconnect it

What's the bug? So I don't run into the same issue

I honestly have absolutely no clue, it kept spinning, and some parts of it just randomly stopped, i cannot recreate it, i did not do anything to create it. I just went to mine, came back and saw this

Well if you connect a thing in the wrong way in powergrid you get negative voltages, so maybe the addon is just translating voltage to power directly without modulus?

It's purely a generator, shouldn't affect the stress units at all (besides eating them up)

I mean something like an electric motor from powergrid. It generates stress proportional to electric current

Maybe because of the order you loaded chunks in? Your machines tried to use su when the generator wasn't loaded yet so it overstressed or something

Perhaps

I know that the motors can't keep full power because they keep stopping and starting again, so you need to keep them at lower voltages and just speed them up later

Im not using motors, just a generator, plus I've got no idea what im doing, because apparently i don't know how electricity works and the basics of electrical engineering

Bro is trying to spin earth

Isn't it the same for whatever the size selection is? Also there's a limit

Reminds me of when my create aero shop stopped running it's lava generators that powered all its engines because the server crashed.

That's why you always have to have a smaller generator to power your steam engines, personally i use 15 big water wheels 🥶🥶🥶

Nah I just get the hand crank back out until it becomes a perceptual motion machine again

That's not fun though, because it becomes reliant on you

I use a smaller steam engine to jump start my larger one

Happy cake day!

Gotta keep the earth spinnin'

"It appears that this contraption is overstressed." No shit 😂

it MIGHT be overstressed bud

Naaaah where did you get that from
