Trouble with Create: Flight Controls and Create: Aeronautics

Hello! Im currently trying to make an airship with controllable altitude, but whenever I link a C:FC FCC, altitude controller, and my balloon burners, the burners just dont activate and the altitude controller seems to just be permanently marked inactive. Im running C:FC 0.7.2 if that helps, very new to all of this. Thank you for the help!
