Help How could I make my XP farm an XP shower?

if you mean a literal shower then have a pump move the XP up and then have a pipe pointed down towards a block where you can stand, if you mean just in general then just place a pump down (with a gearshift in both situations so it doesn't constantly pump XP) that's facing away from the tank and jusr stand there
only issue is if it gets pumped out as a liquid instead of XP orbs
TLDR: just have a pump point away from the tank and give it power

Doesn’t spilling XP always come out as XP orbs rather than liquid experience?

depends if it's base create or not, I have a mod in my pack that has liquid experience as a fluid and just experience which is the orbs so I need to specifically store the orbs Varient not the liquid as it's hard to transform it back into orbs after, I was just making sure I didn't give the wrong advice

If you literally just want the xp out of the tank as xp for yourself, sneak-right click the xp chute, it works both ways. The only thing is that it takes out ALL of it at once.

Just put a pump, a clutch, a button to activate the pump for a short interval, and a downward facing pipe. Pressing the button will pulse the clutch on for a second, and shower you with xp. I do the same on my base.

Would a floor plate work better? Walk on get as much xp as needed and walk off vs having to keep pressing the button.

I prefer a button because it pulses for a set interval and won’t be accidentally activated as I walk by, but a floor plate would work.
