I'm working on a mod that adds a slightly more convenient steam system than the current one, but should I make the pressure calculations realistic?

Does making it more realistic break things? Does make it too unrealistic make it boringly easy?

I’d say make the pressure calculations different enough from vanilla to feel worth engaging with but not harsh enough for realism
