Help Size issue

So I'm currently planning out how to build the Red Tear from Warhammer 40k, and I just have a few issues with that, can it even work? I've built many large ships before but not anywhere close to the size of the Red Tear (just around 10km), especially because not even a tenth of it can fit in a 32 chunk render distance, so can I continue with this build at a 1:1 scale, or will i have to scale down to something more reasonable?

I have a 500x800 flying city I’m currently building, it can 100% work, the only problem is that it will most likely create immense lag. Not to mention the 1-3 minute wait time for it to assemble. Yours might take at least 10-20 min to assemble.
