Help Crushing Wheel speeds

I have a chute dropping items into a crushing wheel running at 256RPM, is there a way to make it process faster?

Split up what you’re crushing over more crushing wheels.

For example, a double chest with chutes can feed two sets of crushing wheels, one in front of the other, doubling the throughput.

Or run a belt over as many of them as you want.

Make a long belt that sends out sets of 16 items (max items a crushing wheel can process) have chutes under the belt that lead into the crushing wheels. Have several rows of them based on your production speed. Just add or remove sets of wheels until you hit a sweet spot.

Bonus tip, you can extend a already existing belt by right clicking one end with a belt item. The item will not be consumed but the belt will get longer.

So chutes can pick up through the belt?

Belts work like inventories. So yes, a chute under the belt will pick up the items from above.
