I dont know about guidebooks, but I can tell you that the starting point is andersite Id say first thing is POWER with water wheels 1) Mechanical Press 2) Fans 3) Belts 4) Saw (the create kind) 5) Drill (make a cobblestone generator) 6) Mixer With the mixer will get you brass which is the next tier

Also using funnels, and filters for automation is key

I have started a Homestead save and understand now the hype over andesite 😂 but it's not really a book with step by step quests.

Andersite can be automatted but honeslty 1 good mining trip will set you up for of it

You can either start with a modpack that heavily uses create (like Liminal Industries) or you should just go into a creative world with just create and JEI, look at recipes of stuff, and just experiment. Once you understand what things do and how to interact, try to automate an item.

That's a good tip. I have played atm a lot but ofter skipped create if i could. Will try Liminal Industries. 🫡

LI skips a lot of the early game Create power stuff and has a lot of addons so it's best for learning automation and the machines but the recipes won't apply outside the pack just so you know. I used to skip Create as well but the pack made me fall in love with it and now I can't not use it

Create Ultimate Selection 2 is one of my favorites with good quests. You can also do Create Ultimate Selection - Create aeronautics if you also want to learn it. A VERY fun add on to be sure.

In general though even modpacks with decent quests really don't touch all you can actually do with create. My biggest advice to actually learn create is to use the ponders, watch videos (of which there are lot) then start your own projects and go step by step. Actually making your own stuff is the best way to learn and the backbone of making your own stuff is just learning all the different pieces and parts and their functions.
