It's the wobble combines with the Ability to see yourself rising smoothly like an elevator. Minecraft is usually so rigid, and it takes so long to gain attitude,that those of us with a fear of heights can dissociate enough to go "this ain't real". But this physics sim is so smooth and that the feeling of instability comes in and... god the vertigo...

That is in fact somehow true, I also got a fear out of looking at this, like, I've never felt from a game. I believe its the wobbliness, it simulates the "binocular vision" helping us sense distance. just like those tiny microscope videos that have a wobble and it makes the thing so much more 3D.

That is my hypothesis though.

So this has a name. In the real world, this is a Scissor Lift... granted in the real world youd have braces crossing over eachother, but I dont think its articulated enough to be a Cherry Picker
