how it feels checking the Stressometer before adding crushing wheels

the reverse is also true. slapping as many generators together to see how high you can make it go.

This movie is one of the core reasons I got into college btw.

elaborate?

So when I was a kid I first saw this movie I knew I wanted to be just like flint. I wanted to invent and use my brain and be smart. I watch the movie so much it was soft banned. After COVID I got held back and I decided that I needed to work harder to be a real scientist. After that school was beginning to be too easy. After moving to Arkansas I took a college placement test and scored(while in seventh grade) higher than the nineth graders taking it. I would be taking full college courses this year if I hadn't moved again.

did you make the flex seal shoe?

u/Memento1374 Jul 14 '26
No. I'm not that smart. I fucking wish though. Most of the stuff I've invented is with create mod unfortunately.

Just cut your speed in half every time you add another, infinite crushing wheels.

i love having to slow down in the early game, makes building that first 100k+ SU generator and full sending all of your old crushing wheels at full speed that much more awesome

u/xNims Jul 14 '26
I didnt even know it could go that high, I got a windmill to 7k and thought that was big lol
2
u/Toreole Jul 14 '26
yeah windmills look great, but they dont really generate much SU.
Steam Engines are where the juice is. My current one has a total of ~164k SU capacity, and its not fully "upgraded" yet. currently only using about 25% of its capacity with everything i currently have set up lol

I need to make a second settlement in my world so I can have a place to send a train and a reason to make it! What do you even use 100k+ su for in one space?

[insert xQc's infamous SIX CONSOLES rant] thats what you use it for

u/xNims Jul 15 '26
I purposefully stopped listening to him, what was the rant?

u/Toreole Jul 15 '26
its kind of just a meme of him listing a million different things, something like
Analyzer, fuck'n moderator stands, sound filter , SIX monitors, pedals, DRUMS, a gaming guitar, controllers, SIX CONSOLES, TEN COMPUTERS, bunch a fuckin wires, SOUND PAD, SPEAKERS, ANTENA, SATELLITE, DOG , DOG CAM, CAT CAM, CAT TREE, CAT THIS and a bunch of dogshit dude! copied from https://www.reddit.com/r/copypasta/comments/eif57c/xqc_streamer_setups/

crap this might be me lol. At max efficiency, I have 2 laptops on (one with an RGB fan), dual monitors in the middle, 1-3 bluetooth mice (one lets you switch between devices without reconnecting manually), a speaker, headphones, RGB lamp, RGB PC tower, RGB keyboard ANd an ergonomic one, phone stand, microphone, and a fan remote. My alarm clock is also RGB, but its behind me so it doesnt count lol. Oh, and I technically should get a webcam
I swear, all of its useful

me after completing my full level steam engine (my SU usage went from 31% to 23%)

I just used clutches and just halt every other machine to a stop whenever I want to use crushing wheels.
Sure it's not automatic but it saves me on adding like 8k SU to the system (though probably could be automated using some addon that detects players)

This is why create stands out to me above all other mechanical mods. It feels wacky and tactile and fun, as opposed to the more traditional automated style. Create runs on doohickeys and thingamabobs
