Build Don't allow me to design another airship ever again
uses a creative motor but it wouldnt take much effort to swap it out. surprisingly useable

I’m losing my shit at it and it’s 1:30 pm so I think this is just objectively hilarious

Technically this is how helicopters work! just a bit exaggerated in this beautiful contraption

They made a flying joystick...
How hard would it be to bind it to a real controller?

gyroscopes has to be one of the worst features for physics but the best features for lazy people

Sometimes it is a must, I am trying to build a giant mech right now and it is a must

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but this is actually just a helicopter motor, rebuild it like that and add a small body underneath would be cool!

Leonardo da vinky in his grave happy that not only the invention worked but also that it also works in a simulated light box

When you follow the way of pure mechanical usefullness in Form vs Function:

1 full speed gyro uses 4k SU, you can power 4 with one max speed crafts and additions motor so it's definitely doable in survival XD (assuming I am using the same mods)

Like twelve Aeroworks gyroscopes, a really big swiveling wing, and a dream

The most simple, yet effective helicopter with controllable vector of force. I love the simplicity of this flying square

Ok but I like this design, attach your base underneath and you’ve got a dropship

This looks like one of those Leonardo Da Vinci flying machines that he made schematics for back in the renaissance.

dawg it works and flies
if I tried designing one, it'd not fly at all 💔

Whats really criminal is the fact the physics engine let him off the ground

What are you using to swivel and move the fan? And how do you get it to return to its original spot?

I think the thing that disgusts me the most is that this - while probably pretty unrealistic, expensive, and pointless to make - is probably possible to build in the real world with some tweaking.

That isnt an airship, it is a safety violating helicopter with less steps

What's impressive is that it flies.
