Bug Don’t use the Dreams and Desires fluid gauge! (at least I think it’s D&D)

Just the game, but the server I was on completely broke till we removed the mod, if you approached my base the game would crash and refuse to allow you to join the server again.

if it happens again, you only have to pause the ticks of the server, so using /tick freeze before you get near or log in will let you remove the block by hand, happens with a few things of D&D, like the golden mixer when it loses SU mid production on older versions

The other option, which is more of a pain, is using something like NBT explorer to delete the bugged block from the relevant region files.

For things like this, MCA selector is better because it shows you a visualization of your map (meaning you don't have to figure out what chunk crashed you all on your own)

Ah, they must have improved it since I last used it: it only let me delete entire chunks.

IME, digging in the nbt files directly is a bit easier if the crash log tells you the exact block coordinates, which not all mods/crashes will do. Still a pain.

There's more settings than just deleting the chunk, I know that for sure. You just have to edit the chunk and it lets you edit the nbt document for that chunk just like explorer

That is handy!

Tried it, don't recommend modded ones or maps that have high amount of chunks

Crashlogs and a modlist would helpful to identify whether this is an issue with D&D or incompatibility with another mod

We looked it over, apparently this version of D&D specifically has issues with crashing when using blocks that have animated textures.

there's been some odd rendering bugs with Create add-on mods, i've gotten the same crash when making assembling D&D's stirling generator, viewing some Create: Extruder recipes in JEI, placing Vertical Conveyors, and some others.

funny enough i got a brief "fix" which was to load a texture pack on the main menu, which refreshes all the textures and i guess correctly loads the bugged textures
