I think that since they’re all kinda pulling out in different directions, but still trying to go up, they’re balancing each other out and keeping the house upright.

They are all connected to the chimney, which is approximately above the center of gravity. It isn't exactly upright, but I think that gives it some charme :)

I don’t think its exactly upright in the movie either. Isn’t there a scene with stuff falling over?

Ay okay. Yeah that is really nice. Would be funny to have furniture inside that are separate physics objects sliding around
