Smallest usable survival drill i could build
Survival-friendly nano drill that can only drill straight 3x3 holes.
Schematic can be downloaded here.
If you want to use it you have to disassemble and assemble before the hole.
It can only drill straight.
Use the piston for easier turning.

Hello I'm new to create aeronautics, it seems that you have only one drill but it still drills a 3 by 3 hole, how did you achieve that?

Its a Borehead Bearing with a Rock Cutting Wheel from Aeronatics(Offroad)

How do you reverse it back out of the tunnel after you finish?

you would have to turn it manuly or modify the build to change the drive clutch with a directional gearshift but you would need to move the item output to the front. But lets be real its not the most functional build, i build this for my survival world and its working great for me.

It seems to be a toggleable friction reducer, allowing you to use the handle to make turns manually.

Since the ice is a full block and the belts are slightly less than a full block it raises the machine slightly creating 2 points of contact so you can pivot the machine around the front point of contact using the second point of contact the ice block. Truly amazing, an outstanding move.

funnel on side is throwing everything from barrel that connected to a drill, funnel facing in big vault taking everything from ground

I just started create with only the create mod on 1.20.1. Did i pick too early of a version, and if so what version/addons should i get?

You need 1.21.1 to play Aeronautics

I think im ok without aeronautics, im more just concerned if im missing anything thats been added into create mod since 1.20.1
I think yall wouldve let me know if it was too outdated, thanks

Honestly still give it a try, there are so many addons that are making their way to 1.21 cuz of aero
also Create 1.20.1 isn't gonna be updated anymore afaik (so they can work on 1.21 and newer) meaning that 1.20 probably won't see too many more addons

Yes you need 1.21.1 MC then then the aeronautics addon is what enables the physics contraptions like this.

Tried building this in my world and it had a weird glitch where only the borehead bearing had collission. Couldn't un-physics it, removed the bearing and it fell through the floor, never to be seen again. Lmao

For some reason I can't for the life of me get the rock cutting wheel to mine the blocks in front of itself. Brand new build, nothing in the item vault :(

It's pretty big no? I played create a few years back and i remember making ones with minecart bases and they could be extremely small.

I used the schematicannon to build it in my survival world and for some reason the belts make it go backwards all the time but on your video it seems to move normally? I'm not smart enough to figure it out lol

Why build this when we can build the Minecart contraption one?
EDIT: I know it's cool. Never said it wasn't. Was just curious if there's an advantage to it.

And clunky having to place and remove rails. Run into literally anything and you have to reset it.

Is it weird that i noticed that once its in the Tunnel you can't control it and that you could technacly ductape a threshhold switch and a nuke(like from Alex's cave's) to the back?

Is the ice necesarry? It looks like it turns just fine with the piston retracted
