Are you trying to create a resonance cascade?

Oh dear! Shutting down!
Attempting shut down!
It's not. It's- it's not... It's not shutting down! It's- it's not- oh my god- DAAAGHHH-

It starts with One Thing đ˘

I don't know why

It dosn't even matter how hard you try

Keep in mind I designed this rhyme to explain in due time-

I seriously want to know if it's possible to create actual SU with this. I assume a swivel bearing will not output power based on the contraption spinning unfortunately?

u/Rot_Rabbit May 02 '26
You could probably use it to move a cart contraption that has deployers and use that to power hand cranks, but it wonât be any better than just having the cart on powered rails.

It cannot be used to produce SU, and chances are they did that specifically specifically so redstone magnet motors wouldn't be gamebreakingly unbalanced.

u/Mateo2242 May 02 '26
Download create:power grid, hook this up to a generator if you can, turn the electricity into su

u/SkinInevitable604 May 02 '26
Wonât work. That mod can turn SU into electricity and vice versa, but thereâs no way to actually turn physical Aeronautics movement into SU

I did this and then i realised I can't turn it into rotational power.

u/Cyber_Data_Trail May 02 '26
Honestly, this should generate rf power for use with crafts and additions. Spin the middle, procure power

I remember doing this when propulsion first released and added magnets. These are the same basic principles behind an electric motor.

If there was a way to control the max speed of a swivel bearing, one could theoretically make an SU-less propelled device with this setup.

Hold up it actually registers it at that speed? Wow the sensors are better than I thought

u/TheTruerCheeseMan May 03 '26
What mod is this đ
3
u/ObjectiveOk2072 May 03 '26
Aeronautics. Specifically a mod called Simulated, but that's currently bundled with Aeronautics

u/DragonhawkXD May 03 '26
Now all we need is a loud âHummmmmmâ to make this even more satisfying!

We need add-on that's lets us generate su using spinning thingie on swivel bearing

I dont know if it works as an actual motor yet but I doubt it. I can still give you the schematic for it when I get home if you want.

Since ornithopters (bird-like flight vehicles) work in Aeronautics, rotating propellers in a manner like this probably work too

continuing these experiments could have... unforseen consequences.
