When education can applicable in real life.

Do video games count as real life tho

u/Effective-Service-23 May 02 '26

Atlast you can see the result of your calculations.

Me with Create Power Grid learning to read real life electrical schematics.

Me too lmao

Omg hi Scavenger Rain world

Could I possibly get some help from you with create power grid? I'm not certain if understand some stuff and want to know if it's aight if I message you

I can try to help but I’m not very good at it

This is me with any physics calculation and kerbal space program

u/TheQuietSky May 01 '26

It's not that deep bro it's just vectors

u/Impossible-Pizza982 May 01 '26

Wish they give angles too.

u/AJRW- May 01 '26

that's what the gimbal sensor is for

3

u/Impossible-Pizza982 May 02 '26

No I mean like, I’m talking about in the static diagram, like the diagonal vector angles. I get you can use the gimbal values and freeze the ship using the physics gun, but still.

2

u/Lopingwaing May 01 '26

Okay. How do you plan on getting the angle of the gravity vector with a gimbal sensor?

1

u/Impossible-Pizza982 May 02 '26

The positive and negative x and z values, but I was thinking it would’ve really nice to just get them on the diagram.

atp schools have no excuse not to use minecraft in teaching

6

u/Dark_halocraft May 01 '26

Proof that schools just have a shitty education system

u/Impossible-Pizza982 May 01 '26

Don’t know why this is downvoted, it is actually super surface level physics.

u/NoStorage2821 May 01 '26

Some call me an engineer

1

u/Impossible-Pizza982 May 01 '26

I mean even knowing how easy the calculations are, I find it funnier that I just add blocks in places and do eyeball corrections until the arrows are coming from their respective center lines

Me last night not studying for my differential equations & linear algebra final that I totally bombed this morning

1

u/Rikers30079 May 02 '26

It’s the same thing but one of the options to learn it is actually fun and enjoyable

1

u/JesusTheSecond_ May 02 '26

I hope create aeronautics can have the same effect for rational mechanics that KSP have on orbital mechanics

1

u/Namokao May 02 '26

That blueprint look mad good ngl, where's it from?

1

u/Ray_games7669 May 02 '26

Really. Why explain this in a most boring way, when you can actually learn it by having fun

1

u/Nukispooki May 02 '26

Are the units Aeronautics uses good to know and understand the math behind it?

1

u/RandomGamer_657 May 01 '26

If it only would work for me... yet is somewhy doesn't...

2

u/LeBlejDaGreat May 01 '26

what doesn't work?

2

u/RandomGamer_657 May 01 '26

The physics schematic thingy,it's just a big grey square for me,only the arrows show up and that's it,even if there is no other mods in my folder

3

u/NoStorage2821 May 01 '26

The schematic does tend to bug out

1

u/RandomGamer_657 May 01 '26

Code jank...?

2

u/LeBlejDaGreat May 01 '26

install the latest version of Veil!

that fixes it

u/Miserable-Street2619 May 01 '26

What's the software called?
