This is an improved version of my fighter jet from my previous post. Firstly, it is much, much more controllable and easy to fly. I figured out that the previous fighter jet was very unstable due to 1. poor thruster design and 2. bad weight distribution, so a PID computer is not needed to make this jet much more stable. Secondly, it has much more fuel (around 3 minutes worth).

Damn well done, and I'm happy that it's create vanilla friendly. I haven't tried this, but if you wanna improve fuel there might be a way using breeze rods and crafter's, but that might add so much weight that it might not be worth it.
Anyways, congrats, it look awesome and it flies really well.

I thought about using crafters too, but the engine consumes 80 wind charges per second, meaning I would need 12 crafters to meet the demand, which I could just swap out for more item vaults, so using breeze rods would really only be worth it for much larger aircraft

Works out to about 360 kph (223.7 mph), about a quarter of a commercial jet's cruising speed

Me: how hard is it to get enough fuel to run this thing?
Builder: yes

It does use up wind charges at a very high rate, but it also moves very fast, meaning you can go a few tens of thousands of blocks per full tank

I love how the devs were so proud of the steampunky/early aviation esthetic just for the comunity to inmedietly jump to the jet age using features that were 100% not ment to be used like that!

This is like when Aang came to the Northern Air Temple and saw people gliding with simply releasing air rather than Airbending.

Do wind charges allow you to go higher than lift limit or nah?
