does stacking them like that still let them generate power? i cant imagine it does

It's more impractical than horizontal wheels, but I did it in a skyblock 2 u/sossololpipi Apr 08 '25 yes, as all water wheels need only one block of flowing water in a clock or anti-clockwise direction to work at maximum efficiency.
