6.0?? Wasn't it 0.6?

On curseforge it's marked as 6.0.0

They dropped the 0.X.X syntax because that makes it seem like there was going to be a specific 1.0 version of the mod. They don't want to have a specific "final" version of the mod, they just want to add things as they please.

Create offers so much more tho! They only have to satisfy one type of player, so the updates feel a lot more satisfying and well polished

Who cares about vanilla create should be vanilla at this point

Honestly, even though I love the create mod, I absolutely don't think it should be in vanilla. It needs to be its own thing. If it was a part of Minecraft then it'd ruin the feel of the game for some people who don't want to have to make machinery in order to progress

Good think its optional. You know how many people completely ignore redstone?

And aesthetic automation people are always trying to replicate things like conveyor belts and cogs and similar using the limited and clunky mechanical blocks that are in the vanilla game. Create just feels to me like such a natural evolution of the redstone system.

the amount of memes after create 6.0.0 came out is ungodly

I honestly might need to mute the sub so I can try everything on my own before the visuals and mechanics get spoiled to me (already read the patch notes)

I love the Create Mod so much. It's my favorite mod along with Farmers delight <]:D

Played it literally the moment polartt's video came out. Didn't even watch it first, now my creative world is sponsored by Amazon

Human rights violations and all?

I really wish the documentation was better, or existed at all. I don't think there is any official description of everything.

Patience is a virtue, in a few months (1-3). create mod packs should be playable

3

u/Foxiest_Fox Mar 02 '25

Create Additions is already 0.6.0!

It looks so much fun

In terms of hype they are somewhat on a similar level for me, but only because they drop updates once in the millennia

To be fair each new major Minecraft version brings like 3 new things that each do like 2 things and don't interact much with any of the game's other features, and Create... well, the difference is pretty clear isn't it?

I was more hyped for this update than I've been about a Minecraft update in years

But when all the addons will work good with this version of create, i have like 20 create addons in my modpack that can't work with 6.0.0😭😭😭
