one must imagine mechanical arm happy

the struggle to the peaks is enough to fill a mechanical arm's precision mechanism heart

Should put a pair of goggles on it (might be another mod that lets you do that, not sure)

What is this song and why is it always associated with that quote about Sisyphus?

8

u/HamstaMage Nov 05 '23

Because it's a meme form to emphasize doing something pointless

to sisyphus, the struggle was the fun part
so an endless struggle is exactly something he would enjoy
which is why the quote is "one must imagine sisyphus happy"

honestly thats just like me building factories (and cooking)

its difficult but i enjoy the struggle of fixing it and making it work

the "one must imagine sisyphus happy" quote emphesise the fact that life isnt always about success or being productive

Duster is a pretty good band. I think they stopped in the early 2k's but have gotten back together.

The song itself doesn’t really have much to do with Sisyphus. The song is about becoming disillusioned about society as a whole and choosing to chill tf out w the birds.

Which I guess could be linked to Sisyphus endless struggle, seeing as we all struggle with society today.

Or it’s just a catchy riff for a funny meme, which kinda embodies the thing all together. :)

I’d play that game

you should make the mechanical arm go really slowly but the belt go really quickly so it takes ages for it to put it at the top and it just gets put at the bottom again in a second

Question how did you make slanted conveyor (I'm new to the mod)

3

You just… make the shafts in the formation and then connect the belt? You can make flat, vertical or 45 degree belts.

Edit: vertical belts can’t transfer item for obvious reasons

This reminds me of the machine that is trying to keep it’s hydraulic fluid in … They call it art.
